An Integrative Approach to Healing

Dr. Alexis Fernandez is a doctor of Chinese Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, and board certified herbalist. A firm believer in the body’s innate healing ability, Dr. Fernandez’s approach is to identify and remove obstacles that hinder this process while working to nourishing the body’s vital energy. He uses a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and patient education to empower individuals to achieve greater harmony and wellness.

 

Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Fernandez earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Science from the University of Miami, a Master of Science in Classical Chinese Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health Science.

His professional journey has been shaped by his work in integrative care, where he learned to blend the best of Eastern and Western medicine in a collaborative approach to healthcare. A lifelong learner, Dr. Fernandez is dedicated to continually researching new treatment modalities to provide the highest level of care to his patients.

Dr. Fernandez specializes in mental health, pain, gastrointestinal health,  dermatology, and LGBTQ+ health, and is passionate about helping individuals from all walks of life achieve their fullest potential.
